Gulf Coast Pediatrics offers a wide range of pediatric services. Please note that all patients must be current on vaccinations as per our safety protocols.

Pediatric Check-Ups

Preventive medical check-ups are crucial for your child's health. Our providers offer a full range of preventive services, including all required EPSDT check-ups.

We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) recommendations for well-child visits to ensure we can effectively monitor your child’s growth and development from birth through through the last year of high school.

Streamlined Payment Options

For Insured Patients

  • We accept BCBS (including All Kids), Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, and most other commercial plans.
  • We'll bill your visit directly to your insurance. Please bring your current insurance card and photo ID to your first visit.
  • Your insurance policy is between you and your provider. For policy questions, call the number on your insurance card.
  • We're happy to file your claim, but if your plan doesn't pay within 30 days, the balance is your responsibility.
  • Any uncovered amount is due immediately after you receive your first invoice.
  • Copayments are due at time of service.
  • We do not accept personal checks.
  • Delinquent accounts are sent to collections.

For Out-of-Pocket & Uninsured Patients

  • Payment is due at time of service.
  • Patient visits start at $120.
  • In-office procedures are discounted for these patients.
  • Contact us for details on tests, procedures, and vaccines.
Request Specific Costs

For Medicaid Patients

  • Our Medicaid panel is OPEN to children 9 years and younger.
  • We accept Medicaid as primary insurance.
  • We DO NOT file Medicaid as secondary insurance.
  • If Medicaid is secondary, you are responsible for your primary commercial insurance co-pay at the time of visit.
  • We DO NOT send Medicaid referrals when Medicaid is a secondary insurance.
  • Medicaid requires an annual well-child check-up for all patients using Medicaid as primary insurance. Find out more at www.medicaid.alabama.gov/.
